New alt club night Choker launches at Camden Assembly
The legendary Camden Assembly is to become home to the brand new, alternative student night, Choker, which launches on Friday 27th September 2024 at the Chalk Farm Road venue. Choker is not any average student event. The rock-goth Choker aims to become a cultural touchstone for the next generation of alternative kids as it wages the war on boring club nights, sticking two fingers up to cheap themes and wedding music, and bringing cutting edge new music from Bad Omens, Scene Queen, Cassyette and more, as well as sexy merch drops from the hottest alternative fashion brands. Early bird tickets are now on sale from £5 plus booking fee from www.camdenassembly.com
With its storied history of hosting eclectic music and vibrant gatherings, Camden Assembly is the perfect venue for Choker, the brainchild of Crosstown Concerts who are also behind massive tours for IDLES, Lana Del Rey, and The Pixies, as well as Bristol Sounds and Ritual Union.

Formerly known as Barfly, the Camden Assembly is a London institution known for its diverse programming that adds to the rich and varied nightlife of the capital city. From electronic to indie, its intimate space has welcomed guests travelling through Muse to Adele and AJ Tracey and been home to a colourful mix of local and international club brands, including the eccentric Bangers & Mash, the leftfield party ANTONYM, and the avant-garde, Mønster Queen.
At the new student party, Choker, organisers have set out to create something iconic, a place where the unalike can feel alike, in an environment they can call home.
As well as ice-gold standard anthems from My Chemical Romance, Paramore and Fall Out Boy, the Choker residents and special guest DJs will also be spinning a soundtrack featuring Ashnikko, Jazmin Bean, Harpy, Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox, to a backdrop of laser light shows, bubbles and balloon drops.

With 100 free shots on entry for the earliest stunners, plus giveaways from brands including Killstar, EMP, Monster Energy, and Liquid Death, this is one event worth turning up on time for.
Returning every fourth Friday of the month to Camden Assembly, Choker encourages guests to wear black, dance and make some regrets in what promises to be an unforgettable night for alt kids everywhere.
