London Fashion Week ‘Get the look’ – the trendiest eyewear looks for 2025

WITH LONDON FASHION WEEK drawing to a close, fashion lovers will be on the hunt for ways to weave the trends from the runways into their wardrobe for Spring and Summer 2025 – and we all know that accessories pull an outfit together.

Glasses in particular are a standout way to make full use of trends beyond just your clothes. As an average of 72% of the UK population need to wear glasses, we may as well use them as a way to express our own personal style.

Bianca Swan, Style Editor at Specsavers commented: “Eyewear is only becoming more and more popular within the fashion world. Fashion houses and celebrities alike remind us that glasses are more than just a necessity; they can be the accessory that completely pulls your look together.

The key trends from this season’s LFW span maximalist prints, bold colours, florals and surprisingly, plaid! We love how there is something for every season and every trend here at Specsavers, and we hope our lookbook will guide customers to curate their perfect SS25 wardrobe and find a style to suit them.”

Bold colours
There’s no better way to introduce colour to your wardrobe than with a pair of punchy specs. There were a few staple colour trends at LFW SS25, so here are the standouts:

Unexpected red theory
Making its way from interiors trends to runways, the ‘Unexpected Red Theory’, boasts that an outfit never fully looks complete until a hint of red is injected, even if at first it seems like it doesn’t fit. Much like finishing off an outfit with a pop of classic red lipstick, or now, for SS25, some bright red frames.

Dopamine brights
The concept is simple: if you wear colours that resonate with you, your brain releases dopamine – the ‘happy hormone’, leaving you with a more positive mindset.
To help everyone emulate Dopamine Dressing and dress for their mood, Specsavers has partnered with Stylist and Colour Expert Sian Clarke to launch their latest collection of glasses – Dopamine Brights. From vibrant rainbow shades to deep beautiful hues, these colourful frames aim to boost your confidence and keep your wardrobe fresh, even through the winter months.

Speaking on the trend, Sian commented: “If you opt for a blue frame, the hormone oxytocin is released. This instantly relaxes us. The calmer we feel, the better we communicate, the better relationships we build, whether that’s at work or in your personal life.”
