Feast Over Flames with Ekstedt at The Yard’s New Sunday Roast - London TV

Feast Over Flames with Ekstedt at The Yard’s New Sunday Roast

Londoner’s, there’s a flaming hot new Sunday Roast in town! A bold take on the British classic has arrived at Ekstedt at The Yard, using the elemental power of open flames to cook every dish. From tasty beef joints and tender game meats to roasted root vegetables, prepare to ignite your senses with Nordic-inspired flavors and innovative touches, plus impressive sharing mains for the ultimate Sunday feast.

The pioneering restaurant from Michelin-starred Swedish chef Niklas Ekstedt, located in Westminster’s iconic Great Scotland Yard Hotel, welcomes guests to experience the sensory delights of the open kitchen, where the crackle of searing meat intersects with the aroma of wood-fired cooking, resulting in rich, caramelised dishes achieved through roasting, grilling and smoking.

Indulge in impressive sharing mains (minimum two people, £70 for two) with options including wood oven-braised beef short rib; a whole wood-oven seabass with fennel and dill; fire-cooked guinea fowl and a fire-cooked beef rump cap, served with all the trimmings, Scandi-style, including Hasselback potatoes; root vegetables; wood oven roast apple with spices; fresh green salad with homemade fermented dressing; and classic Yorkshire puddings. A vegetarian roast is also available upon request.

Guests can also choose from two courses (£49pp) or three courses (£59pp), or savor a single main dish (£35pp), all with complimentary sides.

The Sunday Roast is available every Sunday lunch from 12.30pm – 2.30pm. Book your table here: www.ekstedtattheyard.com.
