INTRODUCING THE NEW SEARCYS BAR AND BRASSERIE AT SURVEYORS HOUSE
On 14th October, Searcys is launching the latest addition to its portfolio of brasseries, bars and events venues as it opens its new Bar and Brasserie at Surveyors House in Westminster.
Located at No 11 George Street, the new Brasserie at Surveyors House is situated amongst some of London’s most iconic landmarks, including Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey, and Parliament Square.
The exceptional venue comprises a stylish bar and brasserie on the ground floor, complemented by an elegant event space on the first floor. The interior design showcases Searcys signature rich blue wall finishes, luxurious dark blue banquette seating, and warm walnut timber floors. The ground floor is divided into two dining areas and a private dining room, offering guests both an intimate and flexible setting. Paying homage to the building’s Victorian architectural heritage, hand-drawn illustrations of the building and nearby Parliament structures are featured throughout the space, blending history with modern sophistication.
The first-floor event and celebration space is designed in light, warm tones, providing a bright and inviting atmosphere, ideal for hosting for a plethora of occasions, from family reunions to intimate private dining and networking events. Able to accommodate up to 50 people, the area is the perfect flexible hosting location.
Starters within the Brasserie menu include Ham Hock Croquettes, Artichoke Clafoutis, and The Classic Searcys Prawns cocktail, whilst mouthwatering seasonal main courses include Chestnut Tortelloni, Stuffed Courgette, Braised Lake District Beef Bavette, and Signature Croque Monsieur and Madame. Followed by desserts such as Caramelised Brioche Pudding, Almond and Elderberry Tart, or Custard tart with preserved plums, this new Bar and Brasserie is the perfect spot for cosy Autumn dishes and winter warmers alike.
Surveyors House offers a carefully crafted dining experience with a set menu of 2 or 3 courses available, £24 and £29 respectively.
There is a wide variety of delicious non-alcoholic options on the menu from Searcys partners such as Wild Idol, in alignment with the philosophy of mindful drinking and culture of inclusivity.
The wine list at Surveyors House has been designed with the support of Searcys’ partner vineyards, who each share in the commitment to reducing environmental impact and upholding the highest social and environmental standards. The menu includes cocktails such as ‘The Cabinet’ (Earl Grey infused Searcys dry gin, vermouth, elderflower, agave, lemon), ‘Big Ben’s Chime’ (Thyme-infused Searcys Rum, Apricot Brandy, Cointreau, Habanero Bitters, lime), and ‘Westminster Fizz’ (Blackcurrant and Hibiscus infused Vodka, pink grapefruit, bitters topped with English Sparkling Champagne), as well as a lovingly curated selection of spirits, English Sparkling Wines, and Champagnes, including Searcys’ own cuvées.
