Sixes Social Cricket has today announced the launch of Moonshot, the capital’s newest immersive hospitality venue.

Moonshot’s first pitch will open in Westfield London, Shepherd’s Bush on Thursday 28th November – Thanksgiving Day.

Moonshot brings the electrifying spirit of baseball culture and play to the heart of London, blending the US’ most loved sport with an Americana inspired hospitality offering and a dose of London cool.

Moonshot will utilise the same tech partners, Batfast, used in the brand’s sister venues, Sixes Social Cricket, creating a dynamic partnership focussed on delivering a brilliant customer experience and competitive gameplay.

Moonshot launches with the ambition of becoming London’s go-to American hangout – expertly crafting an unforgettable experience that combines the thrill of the batting cages with a live sports bar and restaurant.

Sixes is announcing the evolution of one of its London sites as their first Moonshot location. The creation of the Moonshot brand aligns with the co-founders’ umbrella mission of ‘creating world class entertainment concepts that blur the lines between iconic global sports and traditional hospitality with the goal of bringing people together for good times shared.’

Both Sixes and Moonshot will be owned, operated and developed by the group’s parent company, Motherclub Hospitality.

Moonshot embodies the energy of American sport, offering fun-seekers, sport lovers and foodies alike a place to gather, laugh and create memories regardless of whether they have a reservation in the cages or not.

Alongside the iconic baseball batting experience and American-style food and drinks, emphasis is put on great music and an extensive live sports screening line-up. Giant screens throughout the venue will show a packed programme of American (and some European) sports.

Moonshot’s baseball cages are powered by state-of-the art immersive technology from long term sports tech partner, Batfast. The challenger selects their level from complete beginner through to drafted professional before testing their skills as they try to hit targets – single, double, triple or the ultimate Home Run, Moonshot! The competitive and inclusive levels guarantee a good time for first time hitters or seasoned pros alike.

Classic American eats with a London twist

The food and drink offering at Moonshot is a playful interpretation of everyone’s favourite matchside munchies, including epic flavour-topped hotdogs, iconic New York style pizzas and a killer cocktail offering.
