Celebrate Veganuary at Marugame Udon with new and exclusive dishes

Returning for 2025, Marugame Udon will be celebrating Veganuary giving diners the chance to enjoy in store and at home with delicious udon and rice bowls, tempura, and Omusubi, all created with freshly-made, plant-based ingredients.

Since 2021, Marugame Udon UK has proudly committed to a greener future by ensuring 30% of their menu is vegan, featuring udon bowls, tempura, and mouth-watering sides, making it easier for customers to kick off the year eating plant based.

Highlight vegan bowls on the menu include:

Creamy Kitcune Udon, Udon noodles in a rich tonkotsu style soup with sweet kitsune tofu is back for 2025 and a dish not to miss (£9.45)
Sticky Yaki Udon Tofu, udon noodles in a sweet, sticky, umami sauce with marinated tofu puffs and crunchy vegetables (£10.95)
Tantan Mushroom, a rich sesame soup with mixed Japanese mushroom, spinach and a hint of chili oil (£12.75)
Pumpkin Katsu Curry, featuring crispy fried pumpkin in panko breadcrumbs and a mildly spicy curry sauce served with either rice or udon (£10.45)

In addition to the udon and rice bowls, Marugame Udon is also offering tofu puff skewers (£2.50) and a selection of vegan tempura options to enjoy including Pumpkin (£1.95), Sweet Potato (£1.35), and Kakiage (£2.85), a ball of thinly sliced carrot, onion and potato in a light and crispy tempura batter. New for Veganuary is the Green Gyoza (£1), Sweet Chilli Tofu tempura (£1) and Kimichi Omusbi (£3)

Diners can also enjoy a variety of dishes including, the Teriyaki Tofu Bento Rice Box (£8.95), Creamy Vegan Udon (£6.45) Curry Udon (£7.45), and Curry Rice (£7.45).

For Veganuary, Marugame Club card holders enjoy double stamps on any vegan main, fast-tracking your way to a free bowl of fresh udon. In January 2025 only – so don’t miss out!
