The Friends of Holland Park Annual Art Exhibition 2025 announced
The Friends of Holland Park have been showcasing members who are artists, and artists who become Friends with an annual exhibition for more than 40 years. From the 5th of April the Orangery at the heart of Holland Park will once again be filled with arts and crafts created by predominantly local artists.
Chris Hales settled in nearby Holland Road many years ago and can often be spotted painting in the park. One of last year’s prize winners, he has been selected to present a range of paintings on a dedicated feature wall. Visitors will recognise nearby scenery, popular London views and highlights from the artist’s travels.
Visitors are invited to enjoy a colourful display of paintings, prints and drawings, ceramics and sculpture presented salon-style alongside smaller craft and pottery items, jewellery and cards.
All works are for sale with a percentage of proceeds used to support of the important work of The Friends of Holland Park. A registered charity, this local community group is dedicated to the preservation, protection and improvement of Holland Park as a place of historic and ecological interest and beauty.
The concept of holding an art show at the heart of Holland Park was introduced by Christopher Wood and the late Sir Hugh Casson, renowned architect and former President of the Royal Academy, during their respective tenures as Chairman and President of the Friends of Holland Park.
