STUDIO SILUÉ, continues its journey of bringing traditional practices into a modern context with the launch of its new spring summer 2025 collection.

The Artist & the Artisan collection is an exploration of the intersection between traditional African craftsmanship and contemporary fashion artistry – aiming to bring time-honoured design techniques that have been passed down through generations to the UK streetwear scene.

The unisex collection consists of ardrobe staples and classic fits. Camp collar shirts and straight leg trousers all made using 100% repurposed cotton from Abidjan, paying tribute to the diverse tapestry of West African life. The fabric is dyed by hand using the batik method, resulting in truly unique and contemporary pieces.

STUDIO SILUÉ is not just a fashion label; it’s a commitment to ethical practices and environmental stewardship. In an industry of overconsumption, unethical labour practises growing waste and pollution, STUDIO SILUÉ’s process of working with local Ivorian artisans to hand dye each fabric not only preserves this rich cultural technique but aims to set a standard for sustainability in fashion.

We celebrate slow quality fashion that will age gracefully, focusing on hand dyed techniques and tying them with more modern creative direction.

With my background in textiles, I really wanted to work closely with local artisans to showcase their craftsmanship, whilst also learning and collaborating to refine traditional artistry. Growing up in London has given me a wide range of inspiration and being able to explore this with the alongside the narrative of my west african heritage, has been incredibly fulfilling journey”
