French bakery PAUL selects Yoyo to introduce mobile payments
Improving its in-store customer experience, leading French bakery and patisserie, PAUL UK, has joined forces with Yoyo, Europe’s fastest-growing mobile payments and loyalty marketing platform, to combine and personalise payments, loyalty and rewards.
The fully-branded PAUL UK app will be free to download and available exclusively to all UK customers from 20th May 2019. It will make payment synonymous with a rewarding experience by providing customers, in a single moment, at the point of sale, with:
- Secure, straight-through mobile payment
- Automated PAUL loyalty accumulation
- Instant PAUL rewards redemption and voucher sharing
- Digital receipt collection
Through Yoyo’s unique commerce API, the PAUL UK customer loyalty platform will also capture fully anonymised customer basket data at the point-of-sale, enabling the 130-year-old family-run bakery to analyse and segment purchasing behaviour, and deliver personalised rewards, offers and in-store experiences.
For every £1 spent using the PAUL UK App the customer will earn 100 points. Customers will be able to collect or exchange points for free items in-app only. PAUL UK will be gifting customers with 1,000 points upon download and rewarding customers with a refer a friend scheme. PAUL UK app customers will also be able to earn free hot drinks via the digital stamp card and be delighted with surprises based on customer behaviour.

PAUL customers will join more than 1.3 million Yoyo users, who will also be able to use the benefits of the new PAUL UK app.
