IHG Hotels & Resorts announces the opening of Hotel Indigo London Clerkenwell, bringing the brand’s signature neighbourhood storytelling to one of London’s most creative and design-forward areas. Opening to guests on Friday, 6 June 2025, the hotel marks the latest addition to the Hotel Indigo® portfolio, a global collection of uniquely designed hotels deeply rooted in their local surroundings.

Located at 2 Clerkenwell Road, just a five-minute walk from Farringdon Station, the 143-room boutique hotel draws inspiration from Clerkenwell’s rich heritage of clockmakers, goldsmiths and architects. Each guest room is thoughtfully styled, combining playful design elements, textured finishes and locally inspired patterns. Modern comforts include high-speed Wi-Fi, espresso machines, Urban Apothecary toiletries and versatile workspaces, creating a balance between style and practicality.

Dining at the hotel reflects the area’s vibrant culinary culture. Wilderness Kitchen, the all-day restaurant, celebrates Mediterranean-inspired, vegetarian-friendly cuisine crafted with seasonal British produce – a nod to the neighbourhood’s Italian roots and proximity to Smithfield Market.
