Lloyd’s of London tackles talent crisis with global festival

The world’s largest festival for talent and culture, Dive In, returns from 16 – 18 September 2025, rallying the industry around the theme: “Belonging Builds Tomorrow.” Now in its eleventh year, the festival builds on the momentum of its record-breaking 10-year anniversary and comes at a critical moment for an industry navigating rapid transformation and global uncertainty.

Registration opens Thursday 17 July 2025, with events taking place both virtually and across the globe. Dive In 2025 will focus on actionable strategies and measurable outcomes from embedding belonging across five key pillars that touch every aspect of business: Culture, Leadership, Business Performance, Innovation, and Collaboration.

“We’re operating in an era of unprecedented change, across politics, economics, societies and technology. This environment demands a resilient talent base that’s equipped to meet the challenges facing our industry and our customers, through constant innovation, calculated risk-taking and meeting the expectations of our many stakeholders. ‘Belonging Builds Tomorrow’ isn’t just a theme, it’s a call to action. Creating inclusive environments is essential if we’re to attract and retain the talent that builds aspirational, future-ready businesses and high-performing teams,” said Nick Line, Chief Underwriting Officer at Markel International and Chair of Inclusion@Lloyd’s.

To bring the theme to life, Dive In 2025 will once again launch its global social media campaign. #WhereIBelong invites professionals from across the world to post a photo on LinkedIn and Instagram showing where they feel they belong, whether that’s with colleagues, in their community, or doing something they love – with a caption that explains how belonging helps them bring fresh ideas, work smarter, or perform at their best. Natalie Gibbons, Carrier Management Director, CRB North America at WTW and Co-Lead of the Dive In US Volunteer Team, added: “Creating workplaces where people feel they belong isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s a strategic business priority. The organisations that thrive are those that tap into the full potential of their people. Belonging fuels engagement, collaboration, innovation, and smarter decision-making. It helps create a culture to attract and retain talent, build resilience, and drive sustainable growth. It’s how businesses create the environment for people to perform at their best and shape the future of our industry.”
