Jimmy Garcia’s BBQ Club introduced to Summer by the River
In addition to Jimmy Garcia’s hugely popular street food pop-up at Summer by the River, the festival is now pleased to host Jimmy’s legendary dining experience, The BBQ Club for the very first time until September 1st.
For the first time ever, festival goers will be able to enjoy everything from a stunning sample menu of highlight dishes including ‘Caulifornication’, ‘All Thai’d Up’ and ‘Broc n’ Roll’ to interactive BBQ masterclasses. For those really wanting to get stuck in, the Butchery and BBQ class is bookable to learn more about the meat cuts, sauces and marinades, with refreshing beers provided by Brixton Brewery. Attendees will also get their own selection of marinades and an apron to take home.
With dishes covering everything from whiskey smoked trout to ginger and lemongrass chicken, a duo of lamb of cutlet and ribs, finished with sticky pineapple and coconut panna cotta – there’s something for everyone! A vegetarian sample menu and street food selection are also available, with larger groups able to book The BBQ Club for private hire with up to 30 guests per sitting, perfect to indulge for a summer party!
Situated just behind the Scoop, guests will be in the perfect position to enjoy the range of events shown at Summer by the River, including live Wimbledon matches or films on Tuesday’s cinema nights. Alternatively, guests can enjoy The BBQ club with the riverside view, the best place to soak up the atmosphere and summer sun this season.
