Established Japanese eatery Taka has announced the launch of its second London location in Marylebone, on the former site of long reigning Pan-Asian restaurant, Providores (109 Marylebone High St, Marylebone, London W1U 4RX). Destined to open in May 2020, brother and sister duo Andrew and Anastasia Datsenko will transport the charming and elegant feel of Taka Mayfair to the vibrant neighborhood of Marylebone.

The pair originally launched Taka Mayfair in September 2017, bringing over chefs trained in Tokyo for authentic sushi, tempura, gyoza and more. Both the perfect spot for lunch and dinner, the menu will differ at Marylebone for a new type of experience, with their high quality and wide ranging choices of Sake and Japanese Whisky on hand too.

A welcome addition to London’s ‘food high street’ Taka is a worthy replacement to its predecessor, marking a very positive future for number 109 Marylebone High Street.
