Londoners the second best and most consistent mask wearers across the UK
After the first weekend of mandated mask wearing in shops across the UK, data from world’s largest first-party data and insights platform, Dynata, shows the mask wearing proclivities of consumers across the UK, with Londoners second in the league. Just 9% of Londoners say they would “never wear” a mask. They are also the most consistent mask wearers in the UK with a shift of just over 31% from 27th April until 20th July (as opposed to Scotland, who showcase the biggest shift at 657%).
Dynata has been polling over 1000 Brits every week, with the data below collected between 27th April-20th July. Each week consumers have been asked to choose an answer to the question “Do you personally wear a mask outside the home?” Answers included: “Every time”; “Most of the time”: “Sometimes”; “Occasionally”; “Never” and “I do not leave my home”.
