Michelin-starred Lyle’s to reopen doors on 12th August, while summer plans for Flor and ASAP Pizza are revealed

James Lowe and John Ogier, the duo behind Michelin-starred Lyle’s, wine bar & bakery Flor, and (since June) New York-style pizzeria ASAP Pizza, have announced the reopening plans for their restaurants.

Lyle’s, the modern British restaurant based in Shoreditch, will reopen from Wednesday 12th August, with online booking live from midday on Monday 3rd August. Diners will be welcomed back to the restaurant, which was voted 33rd in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019, for their signature daily changing set menus on Wednesday – Saturday evenings. The menu will include vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options made using the very best summer produce. The restaurant will be taking part in the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

Flor will continue to operate in its current model throughout the summer, open on Fridays and Saturdays selling bread, pastries, wine, and soft-serve ice cream for takeaway only. Their signature Lardy Buns, fruit Danish, Brown Butter Cakes and more feature on the menu. News on Flor’s reopening for sit-down drinking and dining will be released at the end of the summer.

ASAP PIZZA, currently based in the Flor kitchen, will continue to serve up its New York-style sourdough pizzas made with heritage British wheats and exceptional produce, between Wednesdays and Sundays. Diners can now ‘eat in’, with outdoor dining available in the evenings and all day on Sundays. Those who head down can enjoy wines from the Flor list at shop prices alongside daily specials, salads, and soft serve ice cream.

They will also be able to take advantage of the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme – they will be serving any of the pizzas on the menu with soft serve ice cream for £10. The tables operate on a walk-in basis only (no bookings). ASAP Pizza will continue to be available for takeaway via Flor’s hatch and has launched its own direct delivery service via Slerp, able to reach an extended delivery radius of 3 miles for same-day orders, meaning ASAP Pizza can now be delivered north of the river. It will also continue to operate via Deliveroo.
