A journey of the World with Chef Akshay Sabharwal at 360 Restaurant

It’s been an exciting few months for 360 Restaurant, Kingston’s new hottest international tapas spot, and we’ve decided to delve deeper with Executive Chef Akshay Sabharwal.

Bringing 26 years’ experience including skills gained from Michelin Star chefs and working for Hilton Casinos, Emirates, elegant boutique hotels and F1-Silverstone, Chef Ashkay is guaranteed to bring any restaurant success.

On top of that Chef Ashkay specialises in new restaurant openings. Focusing on the guest experience, using the best possible ingredients and 5* service for 360, he also tells us “360 is very special to me, every restaurant I open has to be better than the previous one.”

Part of his ‘best guest experience’ strategy is continuously developing and working on new dishes. He makes most of the 360 team’s international backgrounds by bringing everyone in to create masterpiece dishes and exceptional service.

Most loved by guests are Japanese influenced dishes such as blackened miso cod with charred stem broccoli and wasabi mayonnaise but Chef Ashkay’s favourite is his smoked scallops dish. It truly reflects the restaurant’s concept, the harmony and fusion of tastes from every corner of the world, with ingredients from more than 7 different countries!

Chef Ashkay adores 360 so much because he’s not restricted to one particular cuisine which gives him the advantage to work with ingredients from all over the world to create out of this world dishes.

As well as international tapas at their absolute best, 360 Restaurant rustles up a mean afternoon tea, amazing cocktails and wines and private gourmet dining too!
