A line up of stars including Russell Howard and Harry Redknapp join forces to support the Kiyan Prince Foundation
Saturday 20th May 2023 will see two star-studded teams go head-to-head at Loftus Road Stadium in aid of the Kiyan Prince Foundation, to commemorate the 17th anniversary of Kiyan Prince’s untimely death.
Kicking off at 3pm, spectators will be able to see footballing legends and celebrity household names go head-to-head including Harry Redknapp as manager, as well as former professional footballer Leon McKenzie, comedian Russell Howard, podcaster James English and social media star Yung Filly.
KPF was set up in 2008 by former British Boxing Champion and Kiyan’s father, Dr Mark Prince OBE, and supports vulnerable children and young people impacted by, and at risk of, child exploitation, knife crime and serious youth violence.
Tickets are now on sale, with all proceeds benefiting the establishment of The Future Champions Academy, a Centre of Sporting and Entrepreneurial Excellence in memory of Kiyan, who was on his way to becoming both a professional footballer with QPR (he was playing for their youth team at the time of his death) and an entrepreneur.
Dr Mark Prince OBE, founder of the Kiyan Prince Foundation and Kiyan’s father, said: “We can’t think of a better way to honour Kiyan’s legacy than celebrating his life and bringing people together for a football match like no other. The Kiyan Prince Foundation is all about turning adversity into positive energy, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Loftus Road and continue empowering, educating and coaching young people to become their best selves.”
