A man has been charged with fraud offences relating to the Grenfell Tower fire.

Antonio Gouveia, 33 (30.03.85) will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 3 August charged with two counts of fraud by false representation.

He was arrested on Thursday, 2 August.

Gouveia is alleged to have fraudulently obtained money intended for those affected by the tragedy while being neither a survivor nor a bereaved family member himself.
