A Space Odyssey, Stanley Kubrick comes to life in Elephant & Castle
London College of Communication (UAL) in London’s Zone 1 Elephant & Castle, is hosting an exciting seminar and exhibition featuring the works of Stanley Kubrick, world renowned film director.
Using artefacts from the Stanley Kubrick archive in LCC, the seminar and exhibition will show the surprise in the film design, production and reception of his work. The seminar explores Kubrick’s methodologies to show how animal and visual effects can reconstruct and reinterpret the Apollo 11 lunar landing as a media event. The exciting seminar is hosted by Carl Grinter, an animation, visual effects and immersive media designer, supervisor and producer working in the London film network since 1987.
