Halloween is fast approaching, and to celebrate all things ghastly and ghoulish, Traditional Punting Company are launching a spooktacular ‘Halloween Punt and Hunt’ Package this October half-term!

This family-friendly event takes your little monsters on a spectacularly spooky punting tour across the River Cam, and around the city of Cambridge. The whole family will get an activity book and must answer a range of questions, all of which will take you to the most haunted spots around the city, sharing the scary, historic tales, and allowing guests to search for spirits, monsters, witches and so much more.

If the Halloween scavenger hunt is successfully completed, the answers will reveal a secret code which will provide the ultimate sweet treat that will be waiting at Hardy’s sweetshop.

Joe Merwiak, Director of Traditional Punting Company, said: “The city of Cambridge is full of historic stories and of course, hauntings! We wanted to educate others on this haunting history but in a fun and interactive way. The punting part of this experience is particularly special as it allows people to see locations that aren’t accessible by foot.”

The punting activities are specifically designed to appeal to younger children and the city centre scavenger hunt is aimed at older children. Although children of any age will enjoy joining in throughout the punting and city part of the experience.

Whilst fancy dress is certainly encouraged by all on this Hunt and Punt, it is not a requirement.
