adidas & Deliveroo launch edible ‘Everything is Cake’ trainer experience!

adidas Originals offers a handful of Londoners another chance to receive the limited edition ZX edible trainer and pair of ZX 2K BOOST, now available to order via delivery app ‘Deliveroo’.

Following the success of last week’s competition via the adidas’ Creator Club, adidas continues to celebrate the launch of ZX 2K BOOST by creating a second wave of limited edition edible trainers. They will be available to consumers on a first come first serve basis free of charge via the Deliveroo app, which will be the first time the delivery partner has delivered apparel to its customers.

Built with the very best tech, the real shoe blends the ZX’s running shoe heritage with a modern aesthetic, fusing bold colourways with a BOOST sole for more squish, more squeeze and more comfort.

With the limited edition cake version, the ZX’s oddly satisfying squishiness and bold colourways have been brought to life in edible form and at 1:1 scale. Cutting open the silhouette’s lurid colour palette of solar yellow and high-res red will reveal a chocolate ganache-coated chocolate sponge and solar yellow-coloured butter cream with a unique orange flavour.

To be in with a chance of securing the adidas experience, consumers are invited to visit the Deliveroo app on Wednesday August 26th from midday. Consumers will need to be within a 1.5 mile radius of the Deliveroo Whitechapel Editions kitchen to view the offer on the Deliveroo app, with the edible ZX 2K BOOST delivered to their London address the same day. The ZX 2K BOOST edible drop is offered free of charge with free delivery and on a first-come first-served basis.

For those who miss out on the edible version, the real ZX 2K BOOST sneakers are available nationwide now for £110 at adidas.co.uk/ZX.
