PANTONE COLOUR OF THE YEAR: THE VERY PERI COLLECTION

Affordable Art Fair Battersea will present a collection of works inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2022 – an entirely new shade announced as PANTONE 17-3938 or ‘Very Peri’. The colour is a combination of periwinkle blue and violet red. Described by its creators as having a courageous presence, Very Peri wants us to embrace our creative spirit and the new possibilities that 2022 stands to offer.

Whether you consider the colour to be blue or (controversially) lilac, you’ll find stunning statement artworks encapsulating the spirit of Very Peri at the fair.

ART UNDER £500

Specially curated walls of works under £500 will help shrewd visitors snap up a bargain, proving sophisticated art investments needn’t break the bank.

WATCH THE ARTISTS AT WORK – LIVE ART DISPLAYS

Affordable Art Fair is all about supporting living artists to showcase and sell their work, and this fair you can see brilliant artists in action as they create work in real time, with live art displays. Be sure to check out the programme of talented artists including Jess Quinn (represented by Kittoe Contemporary), who will be live painting her signature fairy-tale gouaches on paper and Gabriel Chaim (represented by Darl-e and the Bear) who will demonstrate the process of hand-mixing his own paints by grinding semi-precious stones to extract their pigments.

Bring your friends, enjoy music from resident DJs, sip complimentary drinks, and soak up all the fun of the fair after dark, until 9pm on Thursday and Friday. There’s shuttle buses to take you from the venue to Sloane Square station to make your journey home a breeze.
