Aitch Group and YourTRIBE is delighted to announce the appointment of Sean Ellis, former Director at The Berkeley Group Plc, as its new Non-Executive Director. With over 20 years of experience in managing large-scale, residentially led regeneration projects, Ellis brings a wealth of expertise that will significantly bolster Aitch Group and YourTRIBE’s growth strategy and operational excellence.

Sean Ellis joins Aitch Group and YourTRIBE following a distinguished career at Berkeley Group, where he served as a Director for more than 11 years, contributing to strategic decision-making and leading three operating businesses. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in establishing new joint ventures, including founding St William in partnership with National Grid. In his capacity at Berkeley Group, Ellis also led the team that acquired a 50% stake in St James from Thames Water and subsequently served as Chairman of St James Group.

In addition to his achievements at Berkeley Group, Ellis is a Managing Director and shareholder of Fernham Homes. His experience in scaling operations, with plans to grow Fernham Homes from 60 to 450 homes per annum within five years, has provided him with insights into the SME sector, further equipping him for his role at Aitch Group and YourTRIBE.

At Aitch Group and YourTRIBE, Ellis will play a critical role in supporting the company’s expansion into the PBSA market and as they embark on their most ambitious project to date the £330 million New Belvedere. His deep expertise in managing complex projects, particularly brownfield developments, will be invaluable in overseeing project delivery. Additionally, Ellis will provide strategic advice on the company’s growth initiatives, assist with improving reporting structures, and play a key role in strategic hiring decisions. He will work closely with Managing Director Laurence Quail to drive the business forward.
