Aitch Group has launched its new warehouse-style commercial spaces in Hackney Wick

Aitch Group has launched its new warehouse-style commercial spaces at Bagel Factory in Hackney Wick. Comprising of three buildings – East, West and Central – the Bagel Factory provides 42,500 sq ft of workspace and is part of a wider hub offering 60,000 sq ft of commercial space located in the creative heart of London’s newest business district.

The wider Aitch Group hub within Hackney Wick includes Stonemasons Yard, opposite Bagel Factory, and Old Smokehouse which is just a short walk away. Stonemasons Yard also has commercial units available with up to 4,500 sq ft of space. With several units already taken across all the schemes, future occupiers at the Aitch Group development would be in great company – adding to an already rich, bustling community spirit within Hackney Wick.

At Bagel Factory Central, a 3,500 sq ft unit has been let to The Wick CrossFit which offers a range of classes including CrossFit, Conditioning, Yoga and Gymnastics so that every member of the community can choose something to make them feel great, have fun and feel confident – useful for Hackney Wick locals and commercial Bagel Factory occupiers.

A 6,500 sq ft unit at Bagel Factory East has been let to Powster Ltd, a digital creative studio for the entertainment industry who have done ground breaking work such as creating the first AR artwork on Spotify. As a result of their work, Spotify users could play Sam Smith’s song Diamonds and interact with a hologram of Sam themselves dancing right on the mobile device.

Within Bagel Factory West, a four-floor unit at has been sold to Pirate Studios. Pirate Studios create rentable creative studios for beginners to professionals spanning all different activities. Booked by hour, the space has one of every Pirate Studio – podcast, dance, recording, production and DJ so whatever the next project, customers can get creative there.

With workspace units available from prices starting from £32.50 PSF, Bagel Factory was designed to take its cues from the area’s historic warehouses and is in-keeping with the surrounding Hackney area, with its name paying homage to its former use. The exterior has simple elevations of pale brick and large, tall windows giving it a very modern feel.

Features of a typical floor include exceptional natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows, generous ceiling heights of up to 3.50 metres, feature lighting and smart Art Deco inspired bathrooms with feature wall tiles, wash basins set in cantilevered wooden beams and sculptural mirrors. Occupiers have access to high-speed internet, a private courtyard, on-site gym, concierge and landscaped areas along with dedicated secure cycle storage and showers. The remaining workspaces at Bagel Factory would be ideal for a range of occupiers including Bagel suppliers, creative firms and leisure providers.

On White Post Lane in Hackney Wick, Bagel Factory is located in an established creative business destination with excellent transport links. 2018 saw the opening of the new Hackney Wick Overground Station, just 130m and 1 minute walk away, Bagel Factory is provided with quick transport links across London. The commercial space is also just minutes away from Stratford Station, which will be connected to the Crossrail network.

Piers Cook, Assistant Head of Asset and Property Management says: “Aitch Group are pleased to announce the launch of new commercial space at Bagel Factory and are delighted that so many fantastic businesses are seizing the opportunity to occupy space in such a vibrant area as Hackney Wick.”

When venturing further from Bagel Factory than the next door neighbours – just a hop, skip and a jump away are countless restaurants, galleries and independent shops, as well as Europe’s biggest shopping mall, Westfield Stratford. Neighbouring restaurants for post work meals or socials include Breakfast Club, Crate Brewery, Club Mexicana Kitchen and, Natura Pizzeria.
