Alley Cats Pizza, London’s favourite New York-style pizzeria, has teamed up with world renowned martini master, Giorgio Bargiani , to create a unique gin twist on the much-loved vodka sauce pizza – Gin Martini Sauce Pizza. Available from the 25th February for one month only at both Alley Cats locations.

The two Italian powerhouses, head chef Francesco Macrì and cocktail genius, Giorgio Bargiani, are shaking things up with this very special edition pizza, featuring Fords gin and an extra dry vermouth; creamy, gin tomato base, with fior di latte mozzarella from Molise, fresh basil and Calabrian chilies, seamlessly blended and perfectly balanced on top of the signature crispy Alley Cats base. The key ingredient, Ford’s Gin, brings a subtle botanical twist to this special edition pizza. To complement the pizza, the duo has launched a Negroni Dip with honey pickled jalapeños, adding a bold, bittersweet kick to each bite.

Giorgio Bargiani, an international award-winning bartender says: “I’ve always believed that gin’s versatility goes far beyond cocktails, and this collaboration with Alley Cats has been a fantastic opportunity to showcase its unique depth of flavours. We combined forces to play with pizza and spirit flavours, creating a new signature recipe reflective of our respective styles, always while having fun.”

Alley Cats Pizza, which opened its first site in Marylebone in December 2023 and Chelsea the following year, has quickly become a favourite for pizza lovers across London. Led by Sicilian born head chef, Francesco Macri, one of Europe’s top pizzaiolos and connoisseur of the finest Italian ingredients and produce; their 14-inch pizzas, offer a fresh interpretation of the true New York experience.

The menu highlights Pepperoni with Hot Honey and Jalapeño, a delicious Fennel Sausage pizza and the beloved ‘Vodka sauce’ pizza—now given a gin-fuelled reinvention.

Head Chef Francesco Macrì stated, “working with Giorgio to create this sauce has been an incredible experience—we took our signature rich tomato base and infused it with the bold botanicals of Ford’s Gin, garlic, and Mediterranean herbs. The result is something truly special: a creamy, tangy sauce that transforms the classic vodka pizza into something completely new. A masterpiece, I can’t wait for everyone to try it.”

The Gin Martini Pizza will be available from the 25th February to the 25th March for £18 at both Alley Cats locations.
