allplants announces it’s debut launch into retail, starting with Planet Organic

allplants is thrilled to announce that Brits can now buy their plant-powered meals in supermarkets for the first time, with its launch into Planet Organic this month, and more supermarkets to be announced.

allplants, known for its chef-prepared, nutritionally balanced, gourmet flash-frozen meals has seen huge growth since it was founded in 2017 by brothers Alex and Jonathan Petrides, having served up more than 5 million meals across the UK and winning multiple Great Taste Awards.

Launching into retail marks allplants’ first step outside of the direct-to-consumer eCommerce model that they’ve built their brand success through over the last five years, in a bid to reach even more plant-curious people. allplants want to reimagine frozen food, by proving that it is far healthier and tastier than what most people perceive a frozen ready meal to be.

The current state of the freezer aisle is one of doom, gloom and beige, unhealthy ready meals; allplants is flipping these perceptions on their head by bringing the joy, fun and vibrancy of flavour-packed plant-based meals to the freezer aisle. allplants is far from your conventional ready meal; each meal is balanced by a nutritionist, contains at least 2 of your 5 a day and is cooked up in their kitchen in North London with a team of over 100 innovative chefs. allplants is unveiling their new visual identity – created with Pearlfisher – as part of the retail launches, through the bright colours of their revamped packaging and freezer displays.

Founder + CEO Jonathan Petrides says, “Our mission at allplants is to change the world with plant-based eating, by giving busy people supremely delicious, healthy wholefood meals, prepared by our chefs at the allplants North London kitchen.

Launching into retail means people can buy allplants outside of our website for the first time, making it far more convenient to buy, and creating even more momentum for the future of food that we’re trying to build. Our meals provide a convenient, healthy, and most importantly, delicious way to make a choice with your food that’s hugely beneficial for society and the planet. It’s an exciting moment for allplants, and we can’t wait to welcome even more people to join the movement.”

allplants is launching into retail with a selection of its bestselling dishes, including Protein Power Buddha Bowl, Mac + Greens, Sticky Teriyaki Udon Noodles and Truffle Mushroom Orzo, starting from £5.50 RRP. allplants.com will continue to give current and future customers access to hundreds more delicious, plant-powered dishes as well as seasonal menus and a chance to taste the new launches first – all delivered to doors across the country.
The retail launches come off the back of a busy few months for the brand. September saw the launch of their biggest out-of-home campaign to date, partnering with Uncommon Creative Studio and Squadron Media to take over London’s tube stations, taxis and buses with their New Power campaign. As part of this, they’ve launched (Not at) School Dinners, a long-term initiative to help stop holiday hunger, donating 10,000 meals to date to families that need them. allplants also recently lowered their prices, in an unusual move compared with most grocery and food brands at the moment; all part of their mission to make it more accessible for people who want to power up with plant-based food.
