AllSorts Festival Launches 100-Hour DJ Marathon to Set a World Record and Support Social Mobility

AllSorts Music Festival is set to push the limits with a 100-hour non-stop online DJ Marathon, aiming to set a Guinness World Record while collecting vital donations for the ZERO GRAVITY FUND—a groundbreaking initiative transforming the futures of talented students from low-opportunity backgrounds across the UK.

This unique event will bring together DJs and speakers from across the country in an unprecedented endurance challenge, all in support of social mobility. Every beat dropped will contribute to funding Zero Gravity Scholarships, which remove economic barriers to opportunity, and unlock student academic and career potential.

The DJ Marathon will be broadcast from Mile End, East London, and will be live-streamed via the AllSorts Festival DJ Marathon Charity Fundraiser website. Over 50 different artists, including well-known professional DJs and AllSorts Festival regulars, are volunteering their time to perform in shifts during the 100-hour marathon. The Guinness World Record for the longest DJ live stream requires nonstop audio broadcasting for the complete duration of the stream. To help make this happen, our sponsor N-EKTA is providing refreshing alcohol-free drinks, and friends and family will be cooking up food for guests. Viewers can get involved by donating on the GoFundMe website, taking part in audience games during the stream, and learning from our guest speakers, including students who are currently supported by the Zero Gravity Fund.

AllSorts will host the stream using high definition video and audio equipment to support the continuous flow of DJs and performers and ensure the world record attempt remains valid.

“We believe that every young person, regardless of their background, deserves the opportunity to succeed,” says Nick Byrne, co-founder at AllSorts of Tunes. “The AllSorts World Record DJ Marathon is our way of contributing to a more equitable future, where education empowers all.”

“We’re so excited to partner with AllSorts of Tunes on their World Record DJ Marathon to raise funds for Zero Gravity Scholarships,” says Shiv Patel, Head of Scholarships, Zero Gravity. “Music has always brought people together and driven change – and this collaboration is no different. Together, we’re backing diverse talent from every corner of the UK and helping them launch into life-changing careers.”
