ASK Italian Puts Parents to the Test This Results Day: Pass a GCSE Exam or Pay for Dinner

ASK Italian is putting parents to the test to help students and families celebrate exam results day across England and Wales.

Settling the age-old debate of whether exams were really tougher back in the day, the Italian restaurant chain is inviting students to bring their parents in for the ultimate test this results day. Available for any student dining at ASK celebrating their GCSE results, showing an official exam results slip is all it takes to challenge their parents and eat for free.

To bag a free meal, students need to flash their official exam results slip (paper or digital) to the ASK Italian server, and they’ll serve up a GCSE style quiz, with parents or guardians opting to answer one official GSCE exam question across either Maths, English, or Science. If a parent or guardian answers the question correctly, their child gets their meal paid for by ASK Italian.

Meanwhile, if they stumble and get the question wrong, ASK Italian won’t let them leave empty-handed. To reward parents for supporting their children through the stress of exam season, every participating parent will receive a glass of fizz – or non-alcoholic alternative – on the house.

Jemma Townsend, Marketing Director at ASK Italian said: “Results Day is a huge milestone for young people and their families, and for years, we’ve all heard parents claim that exams were harder back in their day. So this Results Day, we’re putting them to the test. Whether parents pass their GCSE question with flying colours or perhaps learn they need to brush up on their maths knowledge, we’re ready can’t wait to serve up great Italian food, raise a glass, and celebrate with families across the country.”

The ASK Italian Results Day offer will be taking place across all ASK Italian restaurants in England and Wales between Thursday 20th – Friday 21st for GCSE students. To book a table, visit https://www.askitalian.co.uk/bookings.
