Australian actress Lilly Dennis to star in new comedy series

Order up! The thrilling news has officially been announced about the new comedy series I Can’t Help You.

The series has been ordered for 3 seasons so far for streaming purposes. However, let’s rewind for a moment, for those of you who have been living under a rock recently I Can’t Help You is a comedy series that has been circling for a while now and Halleloo Productions will now be producing the series, executively produced by the female power-house producer Angela Benitez and directed by Ian Ogilvie.

The biggest news production has officially confirmed this last week is that the series is set to star the Australian actress Lilly Dennis. This comedic sensation has been in talks to star in the series for quite some time, but you heard it here first, it’s official!

Dennis has been busy starring in the Broadway play Chocoholic and she was recently on ABC radio where she announced her role in the project. “I have had to keep the project quiet for so long, that honestly ,it’s a just a relief to get to talk about it, but yes I star in the series (ICHY) as Felicity – who is a young British therapist in New York who is not exactly qualified to be a therapist. I’m very excited to get started on the project.” According to production the series will be shot in New York and will start shooting next year. The series premise is about a young British therapist who works out of her own New York City apartment with only one reoccurring patient who suffers from multiple personality disorder. The young therapist, Felicity, played by Dennis, is treating each of the different personalities as different patients.

This comedic series is set to be a hilarious addition to Amazon Prime Video’s new original content in its quest to compete with Netflix and Hulu.
