Served in beautiful park cafés across South and West London, the traditional Afternoon Tea (£29pp) features freshly prepared artisan savouries, homemade scones, delicious little cakes and loose-leaf teas. From mid-November, the festive menu brings a seasonal twist, with treats including roast chicken, truffle and sage buns, mince pies and Christmas present fondant fancies.
New for this year, Kids Afternoon Tea is available in two sizes – Tots (up to 7 years, £9) and Junior (7–12 years, £15). Expect child-sized favourites, adorable hand-iced biscuits and a colouring sheet to keep little hands busy.
But it’s about more than just afternoon tea. With cafés nestled in some of London’s loveliest parks and commons, families can make a whole afternoon of it – from exploring the playgrounds and enjoying a stroll through the autumn leaves to feeding the ducks with a complimentary bag of duck-friendly food, included with children’s teas at participating locations.
There’s a lovely feel-good element too, with £2 from every afternoon tea donated to local Friends groups, helping to care for these much-loved green spaces.
Afternoon Tea is available at six locations, including Wandsworth Common, Streatham Common, Bishop’s Park, Ravenscourt Park, Brockwell Park and Strawberry Hill House.
