Avery Healthcare Staff Named Finalists in National Care Awards

Avery Healthcare is pleased to announce that two team members have been named as finalists for The National Care Awards 2024.

This prestigious event, which honours excellence and innovation in care home management, operations, and delivery in the UK, will take place on Friday 29th November at ExCeL London’s Platinum Suite.

Daniel Bridges, Home Manager for Hampstead Court Care Home in London, has been nominated for Care Home Manager of the Year.

This award will be made to an exceptional care home manager who is expected to demonstrate a high level of expertise in managing the services of the home to the benefit of residents, staff, and their local community.

Daniel expressed his gratitude, stating, “I’m deeply honoured to be a finalist for Care Home Manager of the Year. This recognition is a wonderful surprise, and I’m truly grateful. I hope to make everyone at Avery Healthcare proud.”

Kirsty Brown, Activities Co-ordinator at Brentwood Arches in Brentwood, is a finalist for Activities Coordinator of the Year.

This award will be made to a person within a care home or day care service who has made an exceptional contribution to the quality of life, health, and happiness of all the people they support through the activities they provide.

Kirsty expressed her gratitude, saying, “Being a finalist for this award is an honour. Just being nominated already makes me feel like a winner! I’m incredibly passionate about what I do, so this recognition feels surreal.”

The National Care Awards features 28 categories, celebrating the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams across the care sector.
