Award-winning packaging exhibition highlights sustainable solutions
The award-winning designs from Pro Carton’s 2024 European Carton Excellence Award (ECEA) are now on display at the Museum of Brands in Notting Hill, London. The exhibition highlights the most innovative and sustainable cartonboard packaging solutions, demonstrating cutting-edge design and environmental responsibility.

Following the Awards Gala in Berlin last September, the ECEA 2024 winners’ display is now open for visitors at the Museum of Brands, offering a unique opportunity to witness the future of environmentally conscious packaging first-hand. The exhibition features an array of outstanding designs that have been praised for their ingenuity, functionality and environmental impact.

Among the standout creations on display is the Carton of the Year, Origen Flor Natural by cartonboard converter Hinojosa Packaging Galería Gráfica and cartonboard manufacturer Stora Enso. This elegantly designed perfume packaging captivates with its intricate die-cut floral patterns, which enhance its visual appeal while offering robust protection for the glass bottle inside. This design is a testament to the seamless blend of luxury and sustainability, showcasing how premium packaging can be both exquisite and environmentally responsible.

Another highlight of the display is the UK-based Public Award Winner, Pladis Victoria Creations, a beautifully crafted packaging solution by cartonboard converter Graphic Packaging International for McVitie’s Victoria Chocolate Creations. Made with Metsä Board cartonboard, this packaging exudes sophistication while being practical and easy to use. The eye-catching festive design enhances the consumer experience, while its recyclable nature supports a more circular economy. The design ensures seamless integration into existing production lines, reinforcing its efficiency and sustainability.
Other category winners are on display, including OCB Cover Kit – Paper & Filter, Mackmyra 001, Calma Products, Samarite Magic Key, Easy-Life Fish Food and Kirkland Marinara Sauce. The ECEA Gold and Platinum winners are also on display, highlighting the vast potential of cartonboard as a versatile and sustainable packaging material.
