On Saturday April 11th, B-Boy Sheku and B-Girl Stefani won this year’s Red Bull BC One Cypher UK breaking competition, battling stiff competition to come out on top.
The thirteenth edition of the Red Bull BC One Cypher event in the UK brought the heat, with established breakers B-Boy Sheku bringing home his fourth title, defending his 2025 victory, and B-Girl Stefani, the 2024 Olympian, securing her third title to date.
The nation’s top b-boys and b-girls competed in front of a sold-out crowd at the historic Shoreditch Town Hall in London, with B-Boy Sheku and B-Girl Stefani winning the prestigious b-boy and b-girl national breaking title respectively. They will now represent the UK on the world stage at the Red Bull BC One World Final in Toronto, Canada on November 29, 2026.
B-Boy Sheku, champion of Red Bull BC One Cypher UK 2026 b-boy competition, gave his advice for young people wanting to get into breaking: “You’ve got to be obsessed. Never stop watching breaking and just go for it!”
B-Girl Stefani, champion of Red Bull BC One Cypher UK 2026 b-girl competition, reflected on her victory: “I feel excited and I’m going to get ready for the final in Toronto. After more than 16 years of breaking, I feel like I’m now one of the best in the world, and I have a chance to motivate the next generation in the UK. Breaking is not all about power moves; it’s a style, an expression of your self, no matter what age you are.”
