Barratt London Sponsors New Kit for Hounslow & Whitton Cricket Club
Hounslow & Whitton Cricket Club (H&WCC), a local community cricket club for juniors and adults based at Whitton Park Sports Association, has received a donation from Barratt London. The housebuilder, responsible for the High Street Quarter development on Smithy Lane, has donated £1,500 towards the team’s new kit for this year’s season.
The housebuilder’s donation has helped to provide new kit (shirts, trousers, jumper and cap) for the growing cricket club, which has recently been investing in equipment for its ground to welcome new teams and players, as well as updating its online presence with a new website.
Ed McCoy, Sales and Marketing Director at Barratt West London, comments: “It is wonderful to see the community spirit displayed at Hounslow & Whitton Cricket Club and the care provided to help young players grow. We hope our donation helps to support the club’s remodel, and that the players are happy with their new kit. We wish the best of luck to the HWCC teams in the current season.”
HWCC offers its members access to high level professional cricket coaching, and the chance to compete in the local Middlesex League, in addition to many other opportunities.
John Collis, the Chair of Hounslow & Whitton Cricket Club, adds: “On behalf of the team, I would like to thank Barratt London for its sponsorship. We provide the highest quality resources and coaching to our players, and we wouldn’t be able to do this without the support of our sponsors. The team love their new kit and are over the moon to be back playing again this season following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.”
