Today, BetMGM brought the entertainment to racegoers on Gold Cup Day at the Cheltenham Festival as UK R&B legend and global music icon, Craig David, took to the stage to launch the BetMGM Residency.

This surprise performance, on the same day as the BetMGM County Hurdle, ensured the brand marked its Cheltenham Festival debut in style.

As fans made their way into the festival on its showpiece day, they were surprised to see David perform a DJ set from a bespoke BetMGM Golden Stage.

Commenting on Craig David’s performance, Sam Behar, UK Director at BetMGM, said: “We are delighted to have hosted Craig David for a surprise performance to launch our BetMGM Residency at the Cheltenham Festival. Craig’s iconic performance has brought the entertainment early for racegoers as we prepare for what is set to be a brilliant day of racing at the Festival – not to mention the BetMGM County Hurdle!”

This surprise performance emphasises BetMGM’s ongoing commitment to providing unique and entertaining experiences for all racegoers, adding a new layer of excitement to the Cheltenham Festival. The residency takes place as BetMGM becomes the Official Betting Partner of The Jockey Club, which will see it take on title sponsors of other key National Hunt races throughout the racing calendar.

BetMGM is also offering punters the chance to double their odds on any horse in the Gold Cup ahead of the highlight race taking place later today.
