Over half of students (51.1%) attained A*-B grades (or BTEC equivalent) and on average, students made more than one grade above their expected targets in KS5!
Newman Catholic College in Harlesden is proud to share another fantastic set of Post-16 results. Headteacher, Andy Dunne, said “These results are a reflection of the hard work and dedication our students have demonstrated during their time at Newman. We are exceedingly proud of their achievements, and are hugely grateful for the unwavering support from our staff and parents. We wish all our students the very best of luck as they commence their next steps whether that be at university, at apprenticeship placements or in employment across the country.”

Students have secured university places across the country from Physics at Newcastle to Accounting and Finance at Warwick as well as Biomedical Sciences and more and also degree apprenticeships in finance, computing and marketing.
Head of Sixth Form, Zak Jalil, commented, “On behalf of all the staff, I would like to express how proud we are of our students. They have worked diligently throughout their time here and have wholeheartedly embraced our core values. While it is always difficult to see students leave the school, we are confident that they are embarking on promising and rewarding next steps, and hope they keep us updated with their many successes!”

Nathaniel said, “I have done so much better than he could ever have imagined! Thank you to everyone at Newman!”

Enzo added, “I can’t believe it! I’m so happy with my results. Thank you to all my teachers. I’m now heading to Newcastle University to study Physics and I’m very excited!”
