The lead single is ‘Toppa Top’ which features Frisco, the respected Boy Better Know MC. It is a slick tune that is dripping with vibes and niceness out now that has received major support from BBC Radio 1Xtra who premiered the track on DJ Target’s show and has given the tune major airplay.

‘Toppa Top’ is about being numero uno, the top of the top, produced by Ironryanbeats (Flowdan, 1Biggs Don, Maxi Priest, Yung Saber) who showcases a cold, steppin’ sound as Big Zeeks and Frisco exchange bars. The tune is accompanied by a video here with Big Zeeks and Frisco styled in unmistakable 007 vibes, by Emediareel (Bars Upon Bars) with cameos from PREDZ UK, Yung Saber, Fuzay, Zee Zillionz, Junior Dog, Nikey Drip and Ironryanbeats.

The album includes singles ‘Clean’ featuring Ding Dong (aka Mr Bad Man Forward), which dropped last December to critical acclaim, and ‘Guh Fi Dem’ featuring Chronic Law which came out last February and was a huge underground hit. Other highlight tunes are ‘Up Top’ featuring M1llionz a track with huge amounts of swag, ‘Wrap It Up’ featuring Shantiforce & The Rara which is a perfect combination of drill production with UK dancehall flow, ‘Bad Up’ featuring Diggy Ustle, E. Mak & Indie serves it up cold, ‘All Them Tings’ featuring Durrty Goodz takes it back to the roots reggae sound and ‘Under Pressure’ featuring J Spades is a stone cold banger with big energy vibes.

Big Zeeks said of the single and album “It’s my first big body of work as an artist, and the first project as ‘The Fresh Prince of Harlesden’. I’ve always wanted to drop a project, album, EP etc, but it’s just a case of grouping the right songs together to have a complete body of work, which is why it has taken me so long. I’mma separate the men from the boys in dancehall in the UK with my debut project when it drops. I aim to always bring something different to the game, with my own sound and style representing UK Dancehall. I wanted to put out ‘Toppa Top’ with my boy Frisco to show people how versatile I really am. The tune is all about being the best in everything I do, whether it’s making music, performing, the vibes and energy I bring, the way I dress, the things I buy, it has to be the best and I settle for nothing less. This song is influenced by the legend Buju Banton’s classic tune ‘Top A Top’. The production by Ironryanbeats gave me Toppa Top vibes and the production is hard, with a very distinctive riddim.”

Frisco said “I’ve worked with Zeeks on a number of songs, Toppa Top is easily a favourite”

From the heart of Harlesden, north west London, Big Zeeks is an independent dancehall lyricist, who consistently sets the bar high and has firmly cemented his place as a vital figure within the new generation of UK dancehall, with hits such as ‘#Happy’ featuring Stylo G and D Double E, ‘Yo’, ‘Ya Unnastand’ and ‘It’s A Lot Of Money’.
