BRAVE THE BEASTY BOO-TIQUE THIS HALF TERM AT 17&CENTRAL
17&Central (formerly The Mall Walthamstow) is inviting youngsters to join them over October half-term for a whole week of creepy crawly goings on. The Beasty Boo-tique will be open for business from 25-31 October for those brave enough to face their fears.
As well as daily Halloween crafternoons where little ones can make and take home scary spider cookies, beastly masks, Batty bats and dangly spider puppets, there will be cool critter face painting and LIVE mini beast days. Kids will get the chance to meet millipedes, touch tarantulas, watch snakes slither and listen to six-legged stories at two very special beasty sessions.
There’s also a Halloween trick or trick hunt across the shopping centre. Mini beasters can grab a trail sheet from one of 17&Central’s creepy staff and search for hidden Halloween creepy crawlies inside the stores. And for those that love spooky selfies, there will be a mini beast Halloween backdrop for some spine-chilling, insta-worthy snaps.
“We’re really looking forward to half-term,” said 17&Central’s Community Marketing Manager, Richard Jones. “We’ve got a whole host of ‘horrible’ Halloween activities that the kids are going to adore, including a spooktacular trail, which is great for families wanting to take part in safe trick or treating. The big question is are the adults going to be brave enough to bring the kids?!”
