This year, alongside mastering the art of the fluffy, spice-infused Hot Cross Buns, Bread Ahead is introducing a brand-new Easter treat to their repertoire – the traditional Swedish Semlor Bun! These cardamom-kissed, almond frangipane-filled delights are traditionally baked and enjoyed on the first day of Lent and a staple of the season for any foodie looking to explore global Easter traditions.

Each year, Bread Ahead bakes an incredible 25,000 Hot Cross Buns, each infused with a unique spice blend. This year’s mix is predominantly clove and nutmeg, adding a beautifully warm and aromatic touch to this Easter favourite.
