Christmas is almost here, and to celebrate the festive season, Brent Cross Shopping Centre has announced an array of seasonal activities to delight the families of North London.

This Christmas, Brent Cross will be switching on their Christmas lights on 19^th November, with the help from some special character guests from Cinderella – The Rockin’ Panto. From 5pm to 8pm, families can enjoy festive singalongs to the very best carols, and performances by children from Parkfield Primary School. One lucky child will have the chance to press the all-important button to turn the lights on, with the help of Santa himself, all through the PLUS app.

To coincide with the light switch-on, the centre will be transformed into a winter wonderland as Father Christmas takes time out of his busy flying schedule to listen to the Christmas wishes of every single child at a magical Santa’s Grotto. With elves on hand for any needs and sleigh bells ringing for all to hear, there’s snow better place for some Christmas cheer than the Brent Cross Grotto. Plus, this year the presents are better than ever before, delivered straight from the North Pole and tailored to the age of each child.

Parents can secure their child’s spot in advance by booking on the Brent Cross website and receive merchandise discounts through the PLUS app. The PLUS app can be downloaded via the app store by searching ‘Brent Cross PLUS’.

There will also be dedicated quiet hours throughout the festive activity in the centre to ensure that children with additional needs are able to fully enjoy their time with Santa and receive their Christmas gifts. Christmas is about unity and togetherness, so Brent Cross has made sure that every child can experience the Grotto in a way that is comfortable for them. The Christmas Light switch on will take place between 5pm and 8pm on November 19^th.
