Brent Cross announces the Return of the Winter Festival and many more this Christmas

The countdown to Christmas is on and to ensure that visitors are in the festive spirit, Brent Cross Shopping Centre has announced two new additions to its merry offering.

From 1st – 24th December, the centre will transform into an enchanted treasure hunt where customers will be tasked with helping Santa’s reindeer search the centre to find the missing key to make his sleigh fly. Upon arrival at the centre, customers will be taken on a journey to the centre court where they will read a bespoke Christmas tale of enchanted creatures escaping, before grabbing their maps and embarking on the hunt.

As well as finding all the missing keys, those that take part in the hunt can show their maps at the Customer Service Desk and receive a book or colouring pack. Customers can also enter a competition on the Brent Cross PLUS app to WIN their Christmas wish list to Santa*!

For those that prefer a more relaxed approach in the run up to Christmas, storytelling sessions will be held during the first three weekends of December where little ones will be able to hear the tale told by professional and animated story tellers.

If that isn’t enough to leave you feeling festive, Brent Cross will be host to a flurry of snowfall over a magical forest of Christmas trees every day from 4th – 24th December. Outside the centre entrance, (near John Lewis) snow will fall for one minute, every 15 minutes over an eight-hour period, allowing kids to run through the wonderland forest, teens to take a selfie in the magic and adults to purchase that much needed Christmas tree, there and then – it’s sNOw joke!

Chris Barnes, General Manager at Brent Cross Shopping Centre, said “Christmas wasn’t as we know it last year so, at Brent Cross, we wanted to go all out with the help of the Christmas treasure hunt, magical forest and Winter Festival, to create a memorable experience that would get our customers well and truly in the festive spirit.”

In addition to the Christmas activity taking place at Brent Cross throughout November and December, visitors will get the chance to eat, drink, shop and be merry thanks to the addition of new stores. The centre has welcomed Aldo’s flagship store, Therapie Beauty Treatments and Fuego Fenwick, a new Mediterranean Tapas restaurant. Watches of Switzerland has recently undergone a refurbishment and added new brands, whilst BoConcept has become a new featured homeware range in Fenwick.
