Broccoli Productions and Free Books Campaign Launch FREE BOOKS FEST a 2-day literary Event Open To All Celebrating Literature by Authors of Colour

For lovers of books and podcasts alike – FREE BOOKS FEST will be running from the 16th- 17th April at the Copeland Gallery in Peckham, London. With talks and workshops running throughout the day (10AM – 9PM ) for all ages, children and adults alike will get the chance to meet, hear and learn from London-based authors and illustrators of colour. Everyone will have the opportunity to take part in workshops, learn how podcasting works and take home some brand new books from our ‘Free Book Store’ which will be open all weekend. This will be a home away from home, so if workshops aren’t your thing, you can put your feet up, have a cosy drink on us and read a brand new book of your choosing!

Broccoli Productions a podcast company known for education podcasts Broccoli Book Club + Human Resources is looking to share the love for reading and education in all formats and is delighted to be working with Sofia Akel and Free Books Campaign to bring this literary weekend to life to get books into new homes across South London and beyond!

“Broccoli is so excited to team up with the wonderful Free Books Campaign to put on the best literary weekend. Reading is such a key part of the work we do in podcasting from research to idea generation. We can’t wait to see you there” – Renay Richardson, CEO Broccoli
