Bushey House Beaumont Resident Ambassador, Jeremy Jacobs, enjoyed a visit to the South West Herts model railway club today.

Jeremy is 87 and a long time fan of model railways. He was thrilled to meet the club members and see their amazing intricate railway models. Jeremy shared his thoughts saying “I’ve had a passion for model railways for many years but it’s difficult for me to build my own now that I have a disability. It made my day to visit the club and meet everyone. I’m looking forward to seeing their exhibition in May!”

Club Secretary, Ken Halse, said “It was great to welcome Jeremy to our club and to show him some of our model railways in action. We are a friendly bunch from all walks of life and welcome visitors to our club meetings in Bushey on Mondays and Wednesdays 10-12 and Thursdays 7.30-9.30pm”.
