Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Angel City Pharmacy in Islington, North London.

Angel City Pharmacy is a standard hours community pharmacy that dispenses an average of 1,971 items per month and benefits from a high footfall thanks to its busy London location.

The business has been owned by Shaid Sheikh since 2015 and was brought to market to allow them to retire.

Following a confidential sales process with Mark Page at Christie & Co, and with funding sourced through Raj Patel at Christie Finance, it has been purchased by Ikheko Evbuomwan, a local first-time buyer.

Mark Page, Director – Pharmacy at Christie & Co, comments, “I first met Shaid when he approached our stand at the Pharmacy Show in 2023 and, coincidentally, we completed his pharmacy sale in the same week as the Pharmacy Show in 2024. Ikheko has some big plans for the business including adding additional services including the Pharmacy First scheme and Covid and flu vaccinations.”

Raj Patel, Finance Consultant at Christie Finance, comments, “Ikheko is delighted to achieve her goal of owning her first pharmacy as we held her hand and took her through the whole process from sourcing the finance and helping her to completion. I wish her all the best with her first pharmacy venture.”

Angel City Pharmacy was sold for an undisclosed price.
