Cafe Linea present a floral installation created in collaboration with HAMISH POWELL STUDIO and Pómelle Aperitif for Chelsea in Bloom 2026.

For this year’s floral celebration, HAMISH POWELL STUDIO transforms the entrance of Cafe Linea into a dreamlike cosmic landscape, inspired by a child’s imaginative vision of outer space.

Sculptural clouds of limonium and gypsophila are imagined as drifting dark matter, spilling across the façade and layered with playful interpretations of celestial landmarks. A radiant strawflower sun casts light onto galactic spirals of asparagus fern, whilst Saturn’s rings of ruscus orbit beyond constellations of sculptural allium blooms.

The installation embraces curiosity, nostalgia and playfulness through the wonder of outer space.

Known for creating sculptural floral environments that blur the line between floristry, art and installation, HAMISH POWELL STUDIO continues its exploration of nature as both material and storytelling medium. Here, flowers become planets, foliage becomes galaxies, and a moment of inflection on the King’s Road transforms into somewhere otherworldly.

Created in partnership with Pómelle Apêritif, the installation reflects the brand’s expressive spirit through vibrant colour and escapism. Much like the spritz itself, the piece is designed to feel uplifting, effervescent and joyfully transportive.

GRAPEFRUIT FOR SPRING

Stepping inside and onto the sun drenched terrace, Cafe Linea will have a special menu inspired by Pómelle Aperitif, featuring the Pómelle Spritz and Pommy’s Margarita and a limited-edition dessert.

The special, a grapefruit curd dessert combines Pómelle Spritz jelly, Italian meringue and fresh grapefruit, designed to capture the bright, bittersweet notes of the aperitif in a playful spring dessert.

The Chelsea in Bloom menu will be available alongside Cafe Linea’s all-day menu.

The Cafe Linea x HAMISH POWELL STUDIO x Pómelle installation will be on display throughout Chelsea in Bloom from 18th to 24th May 2026.
