Camden Assembly Announces Violet Grohl Double Headline Show Due to Popular Demand

The hallowed Camden Assembly has announced a second London headline show for the much-talked-about Violet Grohl, due to overwhelming demand. Promoted by Metropolis Music, Grohl’s debut in the capital now runs over two dates on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd September. Following the release of her debut album Be Sweet To Me, and appearances at Reading and Leeds Festival, Grohl’s arrival in Camden marks a rare chance to see the Los Angeles talent in an intimate setting on a brief run of shows in the UK. Pre-sale is already underway, with general sale opening Friday 5th June at 10am.

Violet Grohl is no doubt riding a wave of momentum. Her debut album — recorded with producer Justin Raisen (Kim Gordon, Charli XCX) and a handpicked crew of LA musicians — has been praised for its raw, impressionistic songwriting and its collision of ’80s/’90s alternative influences with surreal, filmic storytelling. Tracks like the fuzzy ripper “THUM,” the melodic “Bug In A Cake,” and the sly, slasher-pop single “595” have cemented her as one of alternative music’s most compelling new voices.

Hosting Violet Grohl’s debut London headline show is a natural fit for Camden Assembly, a venue synonymous as a breeding ground for global talent. Formerly The Barfly, its stage has launched the careers of acts who went on to define entire eras, from Amy Winehouse and Coldplay to Arctic Monkeys, Florence + The Machine, The Killers and The 1975.

With its intimate scale, cutting-edge sound and reputation for championing emerging talent, Camden Assembly remains one of the capital’s most important grassroots spaces. Grohl’s arrival continues that legacy, offering fans the chance to witness a future star in a room built for discovery.

Tickets for Violet Grohl at Camden Assembly go on general sale Friday June 5 at 10am via Metropolis Music.
