Carers and Nurses from Bushey House Beaumont Bring Festive Cheer to Watford General Hospital
Carers and nurses from Bushey House Beaumont care home brightened the halls of Watford General Hospital with a heartwarming Christmas carol performance for patients and staff. The festive event also saw the team distributing goody bags, generously donated by Bushey House Beaumont and Tesco, spreading joy during the holiday season.
The goody bags, filled with seasonal treats and thoughtful items, were warmly received by patients across the hospital wards. The carolers’ renditions of Christmas classics brought a smile to the patients and even the doctors and nurses joined in the performance.
Mary Jane, Manager of Bushey House Beaumont, shared her excitement about the event:
“Bushey House is committed to fostering connections with the wider community, and the visit to Watford General Hospital reflects the care home’s dedication to making a positive impact beyond its walls. Singing carols and sharing goody bags with the patients at Watford General Hospital has been a wonderful way for us to spread holiday cheer..”
Amanda Budd, Lead Nurse for Patient Experience at Watford General Hospital, expressed gratitude for the thoughtful gesture:
