CELEBRATE DAY OF THE DEAD AT BOKAN WITH A SPOOKTACULAR MEXICAN & TEQUILA PAIRING TASTING MENU - London TV

CELEBRATE DAY OF THE DEAD AT BOKAN WITH A SPOOKTACULAR MEXICAN & TEQUILA PAIRING TASTING MENU

Venture 37 floors up to one of London’s most impressive sky-high restaurants, Bōkan, and celebrate Day of The Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) with an elevated modern Mexican dining experience. Available from 31st October – 10th November, diners can indulge in a special five-course tasting menu paired with tequila, in collaboration with Maestro Dobel.

With floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing hauntingly high views of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, devilishly good cocktails and elevated plates – there’s no better dining destination to toast to the departed and make new cherished memories with the living.

Executive Chef Robert Manea and Bōkan Bar Manager Generoso D’Avino have created a tasting experience that perfectly marries each course with a Maestro Dobel tequila cocktail. Sensational starters set the tone of what’s to come with a light amuse bouche served with Sunset Apetura, a bitter sweet cocktail mixed with Maestro Dobel Diamante, Campari and yuzu liqueur.

In homage to Mexican cuisine, two seafood dishes follow. Enjoy Baja-style beer and tequila-battered Coley fish with spicy mayonnaise alongside the Luna de Fuego, Maestro Dobel Silver, sage chilli, and honey; followed by locally sourced Cornish crab with guacamole, spicy tomato sauce, and the Humo Paloma muddled with grapefruit humo cordial and lime.

The main event is an impressive maple-smoked and cured pork ribeye, served with tostadas and Mexican salsa paired with Tequila Serenade, a balanced blend of Maestro Dobel Diamante, Port, Montenegro and Spanish bitters. Round off the culinary experience a palette-cleansing tequila sorbet followed by Valrhona Araguani chili chocolate and cream cheese tacos with a tasting of Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino, a prestige tequila with warm notes of caramel, honey and agave.

So, assemble your amigos and loved ones and celebrate Day of the Dead with a little less fear, a lot more cheer and (definitely) some tequila! This is one you won’t want to miss…

The new tasting menu is priced at £69 per person with cocktail pairings available for an additional of £49. To book, visit http://bokanlondon.co.uk.
