Celebrate National Sake Day at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane with Dassai Sake
Marking National Sake Day on 1st October and the start of sake brewing season in Japan, Mayfair hotspot Bar Antoine at Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane – together with adjoining Michelin-starred restaurant Pavyllon London – has partnered with one of Japan’s most celebrated sake producers, Dassai.
Throughout October, guests are invited to enjoy a curated flight of three premium Dassai sakes: the 45, 39 and the ultra-refined 23, poured by the hotel’s Head Sommelier, Andrea Strocchio. Produced using highly polished rice and traditional techniques, Dassai is known for its smooth, elegant style that balances rich flavour with a clean finish.
Each flight, invitingly priced at £35, comes with complimentary house-made Japanese crackers, a classic sake pairing. Light and savoury, they complement the sake’s smooth texture and nuanced notes, providing an authentic taste of Japan’s drinking culture in the heart of Mayfair.
Guests can savour their sake in the chic surroundings of Bar Antoine, or at Pavyllon’s kitchen counter where Chef Yannick Alléno’s contemporary French cuisine is enriched by over 40 culinary trips to Japan. Dassai will also be available by the glass or bottle as well as by the flight.
