Chessington World of Adventures announces plans to reopen its zoo on June 18th.

Responding to the expected announcement by the Prime Minister later today that Zoos will be allowed to reopen from June 15, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, said:

“We welcome the Government announcement expected later today that Zoos will be allowed to reopen from June 15.

“Given the robust hygiene and safety measures we have worked hard to put in place across the Resort, we will reopen our Zoo only on June 18, separate to that of our Theme Park, which we still hope to reopen on July 4, in line with current Government guidance on Theme Parks and attractions.

“Tickets to visit our Zoo will need to be pre-booked online to guarantee entry, however please ‘bear’ with us, as more information on how to do this will be shared on our website shortly.”
